一些人认为广告有用且信息量很大。其他人认为广告给出了关于商品的错误信息并且抬高了商品价格。你的观点是什么?

这是一道双边讨论的广告类大作文,双边讨论类的题目,即是对每个观点分别表达同意或反对,最终的结论就是我的立场,可以是中立(双方都同意或都反对),也可以是单边支持某一方立场。

大家如果有系统准备过广告类话题,就会发现所有广告类的题目在出题上是相通的,都是指出广告有某某某问题,然后问你的看法。那么这道题它给出的甲方观点是“广告有用能够大量信息”,乙方观点是“广告会提供虚假信息且太高商品价格”,我们认为两者都是有道理的。

广告诞生的目的就是将商品的信息、特点能够传递给消费者,让消费者知晓并产生购买的兴趣。对于商家来说,好的广告能够帮助提升商品的销量以及在竞争中获得优势。对于消费者,面对琳琅满目的商品,很难去逐一挑选,广告无疑是一种能够便于消费者了解商品并且做出选择方式。

但是,广告可能会包含虚假信息和提高价格也是真实存在的问题。

商家为了获得竞争优势和提高销量,可能会在广告中进行虚假宣传,虚构商品本身没有的功能或是夸大功能,从而误导消费者购买并造成消费者的损失。

而对于企业来说,为了能够赚钱,收入必须大于支出,广告成本越高,商家势必想获得更多的收入,而能够提高收入的方法无非两种,提高产品销量或是单价。因此,广告一定程度上会使得商家提高商品价格进而获得更高的收入。

因此,对于虚假广告我们应该明确反对和禁止,而广告一定程度上会提高商品价格则是客观存在的市场规律。

Advertising is a form of communication that typically attempts to persuade potential customers to purchase or to consume more of a particular brand of product or service. While now central to the contemporary global economy and the reproduction of global production networks, it is only quite recently that advertising has been more than a marginal influence on patterns of sales and production. A group of people harbour that advertising has beneficial effect on our society since it can provide numerous useful information for citizens, while others believe advertising is harmful due to the fraud information and extra payment caused by the advertisement. I will discuss both point of views and then give my own opinion.

Why those people who claim that advertising is helpful and informative may be related to the current tendency in our modern society, by which I mean people’s choices of products are more diversified and the needs of unknown goods, especially those manufactured abroad,  are increasing in the wake of Internet and globalization. Under this circumstance, the advertisement can be regarded as the medium of showing the diversity of commodities and introducing the specific functions of unfamiliar brands, which has greatly assisted consumers to find the most suitable products and satisfy the curiosity of consumers in a dynamic and detailed way.

Nevertheless, there is also a group of people who believe commercials pass wrong information about the products and increases the cost of goods. Most of their concerns are not solely largely due to the fact that some immoral corporations may only focus on the expansion of the market so that sometimes they would exaggerate the functions of its products in television advertisements, but consumers, after personally using the product, will lose trust in the company and even file lawsuits against it. Those who worry that advertising will drive up the price of goods are also reasonable, since in order to make advertising more influential, companies often invite celebrities to speak for their products at high prices, and the cost of advertising production will fluctuate greatly according to the media and location of advertising. For example, in the downtown of an international metropolis, it often costs tens of millions of advertising expenses to broadcast advertisements for the endorsement of first-line stars. This greatly raises the cost of goods, and ultimately increases the actual price of goods.

In conclusion, it seems to me that although the advertisement increases the cost of goods, it often brings about an increase in sales and production, and as long as related business department can provide serious supervision to avoid false information among commercials and pay more attention to the quality of advertisements, the advantages of commercials outweigh the drawbacks of it.
