考试时长40分钟：

阅读一篇长度在800-1000单词的文章，完成一篇命题作文。

阅读材料的范围：

- 经济学家写的面向大众的著作（非学术专著）

-《经济学人》（The Economist）《金融时报》（The Financial Times）等媒体的专栏文章

时间分配建议：

学生需在5分钟之内阅读完文章并列出写作提纲

写作长度建议：

450-600单词

该考试并不直接考察阅读材料的知识点和论证方式，但学生需在写作中体现出对文章内容的理解，切记文章中要包括Evaluation部分。命题分为两类：

1、Structured

提问方式接近A Level试卷，在A Level作答基础上需加入更多对理论和现实的理解。

-针对该题的参考框架：

Introduction:

-How does cooperation happen in a small system, when someone could be in charge? (keep this part brief)

Analysis:

-What features of a large market allows for cooperation without an explicit leader? (Large number of players, predictability, medium of exchange, common knowledge, etc)

Evaluation:

-Could such cooperation fail or be disrupted?

-Were there implicit leaders, or hierarchical structures within the market players?

Synthesis:

-Conditions for an efficient market
